Role Overview
As a Community Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing online communities, engaging with users, and creating strategies to boost interaction across our platform and social channels. You’ll work closely with content creators, marketing, and product teams to ensure our users feel valued and heard.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to grow and retain users.
- Act as the voice of Capcons, responding to comments, messages, and discussions across platforms.
- Build strong relationships with content creators, brand ambassadors, and community leaders.
- Organize and moderate virtual events, AMAs, and discussions to drive engagement.
- Track community sentiment, feedback, and trends to inform product and content strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns, challenges, and user-generated content initiatives.
- Monitor and enforce community guidelines, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
- Use analytics tools to measure engagement, growth, and the effectiveness of community initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor communities to implement best practices.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in community management, social media, or engagement roles.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, online forums, and digital communities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in moderation, conflict resolution, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with Discord, Telegram, Slack, Reddit, and emerging community platforms.
- Passion for the creator economy, digital communities, and online engagement.
- Experience with basic content creation (Canva, memes, social media posts) is a plus.
- A data-driven mindset with experience using community analytics tools.
