Role Overview
As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for functional testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring software qualitybefore deployment. You'll collaborate with developers and product teams to improve platform performance, usability, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated functional testing for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Perform UI/UX validation and cross-browser compatibility testing.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security standards.
- Stay updated with QA best practices, automation tools, and industry trends.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in functional testing for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile testing processes.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is a plus.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Available to work from our Gurugram office (hybrid or full-time on-site).
